How to use Prankcall.co.uk

Step 1: Choose a Prank Call to use

Use our Prank generator to find suitable Prank Call for your prank
Enter the sex, age and releationship status of your intended victim. Also enter a Crudnessfactor of your intended prank (1 - 5, where 5 are the meanest pranks!). The list with suggestions is updated in real time, so try different parameters and see what result you get.

Step 2: Call our service

First, make sure that you have permission by those who pay for the telephone subscription to use the service!

Call the number stated on webpage of the prank you choosed. There will be additional call fees from the service provider if you are calling from a mobile phone. You'll then be guided through the choices you have.

Choose between pulling a prank or listen to a recording
You can choose to listen to previous recording you have done or pulling a new prank. Press 1 to pull a prank or press 2 to listen to a recording.

Choose Prank Call
Now you choose the prank you want to use by entering the five digit code for that prank, finish with #. You find the code on the prank webpage. You can also press * to choose a prank from our toplist.

Step 3: Call the victim

You now have the possibility to record your prankcall, so you can listen to it later. You will be able to listen to the recording with your and also have it sent to your e-mail as an MP3-file. Press 1 if you want to record your prankcall, otherwise press 2. If you choose to record you'll get a code read back to you. Write it down! You'll need to listen to your recording later. The code will also be repeated at the end of the call.

Enter your friends phonenumber, including areacode, end with #. I can take a few seconds for the cal to connect, be patient!

Step 4: Control the prank

When your firend answers you control the phrases by pressing 1-9 on your telephone. Listen to what your friend says and then choose an appropriate answer.

Sometimes a key can have multiple phrases. The first time you press it the first phrase will play, the second time you press it the second phrase will play and so on. When you play the last phrase for a key, the next time you press it the first phrase will play.

Your friend will not be able to hear you, so you can laugh as hard as you want!

When you feel that you finished pranking your friend, you can reveal yourself. You do this by pressing 0. Then you'll be able to tell your friend that it was all a joke.

You can also use this to talk to an operator, if you want to be connected to another friend for example. You can still control the pranks phrases after you press 0.

End the prankcall by pressing #.

Step 5: Share and download your recorded Prank Call

If you recorded your prankcall you will get a code read back to you. Write this code down or remember it. When you have your code you can easily get your recording sent to your e-mail as a MP3-file. You can also publish your prank on our website, so every body can enjoy it!

Frequently Asked Questions

Recordings

  • I have chosen to download my recording to my email address, but I have never received the recording! What is wrong?
    Firstly, make sure that you have given us the correct email address! Then check that the email has not been caught by a spam-filter that you may have. If the recording is long, then delivering large email messages to certain email addresses can also be a problem. In this case, try sending to another email address.

    There is also a limit of 7 days to how long the recordings are saved. If it has been longer than this since the prank call was made, then it is unfortunately no longer possible to download the recording.

Questions about calling

  • What happens if I am not connected?
    If your mate does not answer, if you reach a voicemail service or if the line is busy then it won’t be a very funny prank call! In this case you can press # to finish and go back to try a prank call to another phone number.

    Even if you are not connected your call will be charged. We cannot be held responsible for whether or not your mate answers and for this reason we cannot refund calls.
  • How much does it cost to call?
    Our prank calls cost £1.00 per minute to use.

    A prank call can take anything from 2–5 minutes to complete, depending on how good you are at tricking people and how long you talk afterwards. You will be charged from the moment you call our phone number until you hang up. There will be additional call fees from the service provider if you are calling from a mobile phone.
  • Why could they not hear anything?
    The service calls up your mates via the normal telephony network. It can sometimes happen that your mate has bad reception or that there are other problems with the service provider’s network and call connections that cause the call to fail, just like all phone calls. Unfortunately this is not something we can do anything about. Please try the call again and hopefully it will work better.
  • Why isn’t it possible to call the Prankcall.co.uk phone number?
    Some telephone subscription services do not allow you to call to premium rate numbers. Your service provider must support calls to premium rate numbers.

    If the line is busy and you are not connected then this is due to many calls being placed at that moment. Try again and you will be connected very shortly.
  • Can the recipient of the prank call find out that I am making the call?
    During the call the number you are calling from will be registered as a hidden number. After the call, however, we can, at the request of the recipient, deliver details to the recipient of who has made the prank call. This is to prevent the abuse of the service. Besides, the prank call won’t be funnier just because the other person can’t find out afterwards who made the prank call!

Who pranked me?
Most likely it's a close friend or relative who pull a prank on you. If you want to know the phonenumber that called, so you can get back on them, you can send us an e-mail and tell us your phonenumber and which time the prankcall was made, and will try to retrive that information for you.

If you don't want to get any more prank calls form Prankcall.co.uk you can contact us and give us the phonenumber that you wish to block and we will arrange that for you.

Description of Service

Prankcall.co.uk is providing a telephone service where the user with their phone control prerecorded prank calls against a friend. The user can also choose from the service to record the prank calls.

Access to Service

To use the service you must be 18 years of age or older.

Times for access to the service

The service is blocked for use during the night between midnight and 6:00 am.

Pricing

The cost of using the service is stated next to the phone number and is calcultaed from the time you call the service until you hang up.

Responsibility for the call

The user is responsible for ensuring that no illegal acts are performed during the call. The user is also responsible that good ethics and morals are held through the use of Prankcall.co.uk.

Storage of Data

The user agrees that information about the call is stored by Prankcall.co.uk. Information that can be stored is the users phonenumber, time of call, dialed number, name, e-mail, address, zip code, city, recording (but only with the consent of the caller) and other technical information that can be connected to a call.

Use of data

The user agree that Prankcall.co.uk will disclose all information about a specific call to the holder of the called number.

General

Prankcall.co.uk owns all the rights to the recordings made through the service.

Send the recording to the users e-mail

With in 7 days after a call has been made, the user can choose to get a recording of the call sent to his/her e-mail adress. Prankcall.co.uk can not guarantee delivery of the recording to the users e-mail inbox. This is because there are too many external factors that control if the recording reaches your inbox. For example Spam-filters.

Publish recording on our website

With in 7 days after a call has been made, the user can choose to publish a recording of the call to Prankcall.co.uk. The user is responsible to ensure that all parties participating in the call agree that the recording is published.
The recording will be published on the website indefinitely.

Distribution of recording

The user have the right to distribute the recording for none commercial use. For distribution for commercial use the user must get approval from Prankcall.co.uk.

Deletion of recording

The user gives Prankcall.co.uk the right to delete recordings that can be considered offensive or is in violation of British law.

The user or the party being called can, at any time, contact Prankcall.co.uk an request deletion of a publish recording.

Commenting published recordings

  • It is not allowed to write things that make it possible to identify who the person beeing called is. This include, city, adress, name or phone number.
  • It is not permissible to leave a comment containing personal attacks, racist expression, disparaging words on people or ethnic group.
  • Otherwise, you must comply with Brittish law when writing comments on Prankcall.co.uk

Suspension

Prankcall.co.uk holds the right to suspend users from using the service if Prankcall.co.uk judge that the user is abusing the service. Suspension can be made without justification from Prankcall.co.uk

Maintenance of the service

Prankcall.co.uk will, now and then, shutdown the service for technical maintenance. We will try to do maintenance of the service when usage of the service is low, like nights and early mornings.

Claims

The user agrees to keep Prankcall.co.uk, its owners, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, other partners and employees from any liability in respect of such loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that can be produced by third parties with reason of your use of the Services.
